LEC Continues to Embody a Zero Accident Culture
LEC Performs as General Contractor on the $3 Million Dollar Medium Voltage to 480v Service Renovation at Anoka Ramsey Community College
Recently, Laketown Electric Corporation was the prime contractor/GC for Anoka Ramsey Community College, where we changed the entire campus from medium voltage electrical services to 480 volt services.
This prime contract was around $3 million in scope and not only included electrical, but also roofing, fencing, landscape restoration, concrete, structural steel, mechanical piping and a few other trades. Achieving on challenging projects that not many others can tackle is a large part of what defines LEC.
Laketown Electric Corporation played quarterback to organize and hire all of the trades involved. We have completed many similar projects in recent years where LEC is the prime contractor on jobs where 80% or more of the job falls within our scope.
At the same time, we also completed a $2.3 million dollar renovation of the nursing area at the school. Like all Laketown Electric Corporation projects, our piping is neat and clean!
Unique challenges require a team that will provide innovative solutions. One of the benefits of working with Laketown Electric Corporation is that our team employs multi-skilled craftspeople. We are not afraid to pour some concrete pads, or in this case assemble a sharp looking enclosure.

We made the Fast 50 list, a list of the 50 fastest growing private companies by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal for the SEVENTH year in a row.
This continued growth has taken a community. We have achieved this by being team players, reciprocal partners, saying what we will do and doing all we say we will do and more. We put thought and care into all that we do, and we put the families of our employees first, always.
We give respect and attention to every opportunity, every negotiation, and every chance to compete fairly.
To those that have yet to give us an at-bat or opportunity, I encourage you to do so, we will not let you down.
To the families, communities and friends that have helped us get here, we graciously thank you!
Onward and upward!
