What types of projects will I work on at Laketown Electric?
We specialize in challenging, large-scale commercial and industrial projects with repeat customers throughout the Midwest.
What qualifications do I need to work as an electrician at Laketown Electric?
We require a valid Minnesota electrician’s license (Registered Unlicensed Apprentice, Journeyman, or Master Electrician), a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Does Laketown Electric provide apprenticeship opportunities?
Yes! We actively support apprentices looking to gain hands-on experience while working toward their Journeyman license. LEC has a state approved apprenticeship program with the MN Department of Labor. LEC pays for four years of apprenticeship training.
What experience level do you require?

We hire electricians at all levels, from apprentices to Large Project Foreman. If you’re eager to learn and grow, we have a place for you.

We primarily handle large-scale new construction and remodeling projects for commercial and industrial clients but also have a significant dedicated service department.
