Matt Bergmann, CEO
Matt is in charge of many facets at LEC which includes growing relationships with existing and new customers and helping with preconstruction and construction management services. Matt handles all fiduciary responsibilities and oversees human resources as well. Matt is typically our clients first point of contact and the face of the company to end users, customers, vendors, subcontractors and others in the industry.
Chris Bergmann, PE, LEED AP; COO
Chris is in charge of LEC’s construction, project management, estimating and engineering services at LEC. Prior to that he spent eight years in Minneapolis at one of the top consulting engineering firms in the Upper Midwest. Chris is a licensed professional electrical engineer and a LEED AP. His strengths include designing and engineering high tech healthcare, industrial and commercial facilities while utilizing design-build practices, which makes up 75% of LEC’s annual revenue.
Andy Kerber, Vice President
Andy joined LEC in 1998, during that time, Andy has supervised LEC’s most notable projects ranging up to several million in electrical scope. Andy is the head liaison to our field employees for technical questions and clarifications. Andy is responsible for helping our foreman run succcessful jobsites, oversee scheduling, and project planning.
Dan Palmer, Project Manager/Estimator
Dan joined LEC after a career that has had many important positions at Parsons, Killmer and MP Nexlevel to name a few. Dan is a savvy electrical estimating and project management veteran that brings a high level of service to all of the projects that he manages. Dan specializes in municipal, education, underground and specialty projects.
Jake Radford, Project Manager/Estimator
Jake joined LEC after a career in the field and with office positions with companies like Robb’s and Cal-Tex Electric. Jake is very well versed in bidding and estimating office, industrial and tenant improvement projects.
Adam VonBehren, General Foreman/Project Manager
Adam joined LEC in 2016, and has since been promoted to General Foreman. Adam helps run our small project division and manages multiple forepersons and other electricians.
Christine Bergmann, Chairwoman of the Board
Christine founded Laketown Electric in 1975, and during that time has been involved in everything from the ground up.
30 loyal, conscientious team players that are hands on leaders averaging over 10 years of tenure to help guide our field staff to success on every project. These 30 leaders help our 17 apprentices learn best practices so they can get promoted to journeyman, master electrician and office and additional leadership positions.
David Bergmann, In Memory
David started Laketown Electric in 1975 and received his Masters Electricians license in the state of Minnesota that same year. David’s vast experience in the industry led him to create the basis of the great company that LEC is today. David passed away on December 5th, 2012.
