Data Centers
Data center environments require careful planning across electrical distribution, backup power, structured cabling, controls, security, and communications. LEC combines electrical construction and low voltage capabilities under experienced project leadership.
We plan manpower and schedule forecasts using intelligent platforms grounded in live data, giving owners and general contractors a clearer view of risk, coordination, and delivery.
Proof, not promises
Recent work includes the AAIM Data Center facility in Blue Earth, Minnesota, a $1.145 million electrical installation for a modular, container-based facility supporting a 15 MW data center and a 6 MW bitcoin mining operation through proof-of-concept testing. LEC self-performed 100% of the electrical labor, working directly with the owner, the city utility, and state inspectors. The scope covered two separately metered utility feeds, 15 kV overhead infrastructure, six pad-mounted transformers, six 4,000-amp switchboards, and variable frequency drive control for 120 cooling fans, and the team managed overseas equipment procurement through commissioning.
In Waconia, LEC designed, engineered, and installed the Ridgeview Medical Center 2-megawatt generator, backup power with full redundancy for a hospital campus.
