We are seeking individuals who project a professional image, have a positive attitude and are leaders and self-starters with a strong work ethic and the ability to perform electrical estimating including commercial, industrial, and healthcare facilities. The electrical estimator must be able to estimate plan and spec projects, as well as some design build projects as well Once projects are acquired, they will quarterback client relations, scheduling, material procurement and will assist in transitioning projects seamlessly to project managers and respond to RFIs and pricing requests as required.

Applicants must possess superior skills in computer estimating and spreadsheet programs and a proven background with RFIs, cost estimates, hard bids, material take-offs and reading blueprints. Candidates will be paid based on experience as well as aptitude with exceptional bonus potential. The candidate must possess good people skills and the ability to build rapport with key end users and general contractors. Proven experience with McCormick Estimating Software is required. Primary functions of this position will be to perform take-offs, formulation of proposals and final bidding of all types of construction including but not limited to healthcare facilities, manufacturing, restaurants, tenant improvements, schools, and commercial buildings. Applicants must have the ability to read and understand contract documents, drawings and specifications; have an understanding of general electrical design and engineering concepts and have an overall general knowledge of electrical material costs. The best candidates will have experience estimating projects in the range of $100,000 to $10+ million dollars per project on average.
