Laketown Electric Works on Modern Edina Public Schools Transportation Center

Laketown Electric Corporation completed the commercial electrical work on an 80,000 square foot transportation center in fall 2017.

The new transportation facility represents a considerable increase in space for the Edina school district’s bus fleet, after it outgrew the existing facility. The new transportation center is on a 9.25 acre site, and features garage space, maintenance bays and modern office facilities.
